11. App Tracking Transparency and Data Collection Consent
QuoteMe values user privacy and transparency. In connection with our mobile application, we may request your permission, where required by applicable law or platform rules, before collecting, accessing, using, or tracking certain categories of data, including but not limited to: Advertising Data, Search History, Customer Support information, Photos or Videos, Other Data Types, Product Interaction data, and Emails or Text Messages.
On Apple iOS devices, QuoteMe may present Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before engaging in any activity that constitutes tracking under Apple's policies. If you do not grant permission, QuoteMe will not use your data for tracking purposes as defined by Apple. Your decision will not prevent you from accessing the core functionality of the app, though some personalized features, recommendations, analytics, advertising, or marketing functions may be limited.

14. Mediation Requirement

- Mediation shall take place in Los Angeles County, California, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Each party shall bear its own costs and share the mediator's fees equally.
- If the dispute is not resolved within 60 days after mediation is initiated, either party may then proceed with litigation under the governing law and jurisdiction stated above.
This mediation requirement applies to all disputes, including but not limited to those arising out of these Terms, the Services, or any interaction with QuoteMe or its affiliates. Failure to comply with this clause prior to initiating litigation may result in dismissal or stay of proceedings until mediation has been completed.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
